Elegantly bound by Riviere in full calf, with a unique and decorative pattern, a gilt fore edge and dentelles.

A collection of short stories and novellas written by French dramatist, poet and novelist, Alfred de Musset.

This collection is comprised of six works by de Musset, including 'Les Deux Maîtresses', 'Frédéric et Bernerette', 'Le Fils du Titien', 'Histoire d'un merle blanc', 'Mimi Pinson' and 'La Mouche'. Each story was originally published between 1838 and 1853.

With a portrait of the author engraved by M. Waltner. Collated, complete. 

Written in the original French. 

With an ink inscription of Reginald Auth, 1910, to the front blank.

Condition

Bound by Riviere in full calf. Externally, lovely, with minor shelf wear only. Internally, firmly bound with bright, clean pages, the very occasional mark. Ink inscription to the front blank.
