This work details happenings in London during the Jacobite movement of the seventeenth and eighteenth century, as it tried to restore the House of Stuart to the British throne.

In a charming full calf binding with gilt detail to the spines and marbled endpapers.

Condition

In a full calf binding. Externally very smart, with just some slight rubbing to the spine and joints, which are a little chipped to the head and tail. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
