The first edition of this work in the publisher's original cloth binding. Small library stamp to the front paste down and to the verso of the title page. A genealogical study of the family of Sir Walter Scott, written by the Scottish minister Charles Rogers (1825–1890), who wrote many works on Scottish history and genealogy. With this work is Sir Walter Scott's 'Memorials of the Haliburtons'. Illustrated with a frontispiece.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally generally smart, with shelf wear to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities.
