With illustrations by Randolph Caldecott, prominent English artist known for illustrating children's works.
Four leaves of advertisements to the rear.
Condition
In the original publisher's full cloth binding with decorative gilt to front board and spine, gilt to edges. Externally smart, spine and board only lightly bumped to extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Faint minor spotting affecting blank leaves, otherwise pages bright and clean. With illustrations both in full page and vignettes in text by Randolph Caldecott.
