Three volumes of Baily's Magazine of Sports and Pastimes from 1877-1879, including volumes 30, 31 and 33.
Baily's Monthly Magazine of Sports and Pastimes was a monthly magazine of horse racing and other equine pursuits first published in 1860.
With a frontispiece and illustrated title page to all three volumes.
With seven plates to vol 30, from February 1877 to August 1877.
With seven plates to vol 31, from September 1877 to March 1878.
With seven plates to vol 33, from November 1878 to May 1879.
Collated, complete.
Condition
All are in half calf with cloth covered boards. Externally, worn with rubbing to the spines, water mark to the front board of vol 30, marks to the boards of 31, significant marks to the front board of vol 33 with the cloth coming away from the leather spine. Front hinge is starting and loosening to vol 33 with marks and bumping to the endpapers and first few pages. Bookseller sticker to all front pastedowns. tide mark to the frontispiece and engraved title page of vol 30. Internally, generally firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages.
