The first edition of this work, a very scarce copy rarely seen on the market. Boys' adventure novel concerned with Indian life by William Henry Giles Kingston. 

Here pleasingly presented in the original publisher's decorative cloth binding. 

Illustrated with frontispiece and additional illustrated title page, as well as forty-three full page plates of illustrations.

Six leaves of publisher's advertisements to rear.

Condition

In the original publisher's full cloth binding with decorative gilt to spine and front board. Externally smart with minor shelf wear, light bumping to head and tail of spine, mark to upper outer corner rear board. Previous ownership inscription to half title dated 1877. Internally, binding generally firm. Light spotting to first and last few leaves affecting odd page only, pages otherwise generally bright and clean throughout.
