The second edition of this work. Comprising twelve essays on brewing by Frank Faulkner. With titles on water and other materials, chemicals, the construction of brewing vessels, the buildings, systems, and trade, and the procedures. A thorough, scarce volume, with five illustrations to Appendix.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally smart with minor shelfwear and slight bumping to head and tail of spine and extremities. Inscribed by a previous owner to front free endpaper, dated 1878. Internally, firmly bound. Minor faint scattered spotting to fore edge, affecting the occasional leaf only, particularly to last few leaves. With five plates to Appendix.
