This work features an autobiography by Arthur B. R. Myers, describing his sporting tour to Soudan in 1874-5. The work talks of the animals the group encountered and hunted, with illustrations depicting these hunts.

Condition
In the publisher's original cloth. Externally generally smart with the odd mark, slight fading to the spine, small closed tears to the head and spine, bumping to the extremities and very minor rubbing to the joints. Front hinge failed after the half title with only the odd slight mark to the endpapers. Internally binding failed after pp. 176 with the frontispiece to pp.176 disbound but present. Pages lightly age toned with the odd spot. Library stamp from the 'Ministry of Defence' to the title page'.
