The first edition of Ernst Haas' detailed catalogue, in which he compiles the Sanskrit and Pali books held in the British Museum.
This was the first endeavour to provide such a bibliography, after a period which saw the rapid development of the department.

Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Spine and joints are faded. A small amount of loss to the head and tail of the spine. A few light marks to the boards and spine. Front hinge is starting but firm. Label and ink to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with scattered spots. Blind stamp to the first few pages.
