The third edition of this work, scarce in all editions. Dated via Jisc from a copy of the same edition at the British Library. 

A useful cookery book for pastry, cakes, and sweetmeats by William Jeanes. With methods and techniques explained simply. 

Illustrated with fifteen full page plates. Collated, complete. 

Two leaves of publisher's advertisements to rear.

Condition

In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally sound with some shelf wear, bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities. Boards lightly marked, particularly to rear. Internally, binding firm. Pages generally very clean throughout.
