This work was written by C. T. S Birch Reynardson and features an autobiographical account of the author's time as a coachman. This work was written during a time of revived coaching, bringing an amusing narrative reflecting on the progression of coaching. 

In the publisher's original cloth with a gilt illustration to the front.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth. Externally smart with a slight lean, fading to the spine, bumping and wear to the extremities resulting in very small closed tears to the head and tail of the spine and marks to the boards. Bookseller's label and a bookplate belonging to 'The Hon Mr Justice H D Cornish Madras' to the front pastedown with rear hinge starting and the odd minor mark to the endpapers. Internally generally firmly bound with evidence of strain between pp.136 and 157. Pages bright with occasional light spotting and minor offsetting from plates.
