In the original German. Carl Hermann Schauenburg, 1819 - 1876, was a German practitioner of medicine and ophthalmology who was also a poet and dramatist. With a nameplate for The Institute of Ophthalmology, London on the front pastedown.
Condition
In the original half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart. Light bumping to the extremities. Minor rubbing to the boards. Small label and ink inscription to the tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with the odd spot.
