Richard Whately was an English rhetorician, logician, economist, academic and theologian who also served as a reforming Church of Ireland Archbishop of Dublin. He was a leading Broad Churchman, a prolific and combative author over a wide range of topics, a flamboyant character, and one of the first reviewers to recognise the talents of Jane Austen
Condition
In a brown cloth binding. Externally, rather worn, with rubbing to the board and some loss to the backstrip. Joints are tender, with cloth splitting. Internally, firmly bound. Ink signatures to front pastedown and title page, and some ink annotations to the margins. Pages are quite bright and clean, aside from the ink and pencil notes.

We send all of our books via courier which is a fully tracked and insured service. In our experience we find this to be the most reliable and quickest form of delivery.
