    First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, Scarce

    First edition of Eastern Legends and Stories in English Verse by Norton Powlett in the original publisher's decorative cloth binding.

    A scarce edition. 

    This collection of stories and legends includes 'The Bride of Empire', 'The Greedy Cat' and 'The Old Woman and the Angel of Death'. 

    Lieutenant Norton Powlett served in the Royal Artillery.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's decorative cloth binding. Externally, very smart. Some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Internally, generally firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with some occasional spots.
