Illustrated, Rebound, Uncommon
Rebound in cloth, with renewed endpapers. Stamp of the British Medical Library Association to the half title page, the title page and the last page. Illustrated with numerous diagrams. Léon Legouest (1820-1889) was a military doctor, professor of surgical clinics at Val-de-Grâce and Inspector General of the Third Republic in France. He wrote many works, like this one, on military surgery. Two pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear.
Rebound in cloth. Externally, in lovely condition. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally clean, except for an ink stain to the top edge, affecting the occasional page, and some age toning.
