Arranged in thirteen chapters, including discussion of the 'fundamental principles of phrenology', the human skull, the brain as the organ of the mind, and the intellectual faculties.
Phrenologist Nicholas Morgan aims to aid those interested in the study of phrenology with this very scarce work.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding, with pictorial onlay to centre of front board. Back strip age toned. Bumping to back strip head and tail, with small loss of cloth to back strip head. Front hinge lightly strained, but firmly held. Internally, binding lightly strained. Pages clean and bright.
