With the former owner's inscription of CC Davis, dated 1949, to a front blank of each volume.

In half morocco bindings, with marbled paper covered boards. With a touch of rubbing to back strip heads and tails, and bright boards. Minor rubbing to board perimeters. Bookplates to front pastedowns. Inscriptions to front blanks. Internally, firmly bound. Pages exceptionally clean and bright.
