This work details all manner of events, characters, occurrences and customs from across the world.

Written by Edwin Paxton Hood (1820-1885), an English author. His other works include 'The Age and its Architects', 'The Uses of Biography', 'Vignettes of the Great Revival of the Eighteenth Century' and 'Self-Education: Twelve Chapters for Young Thinkers'. He also wrote biographies of John Milton, William Wordsworth, Christmas Evans and Oliver Cromwell. He was a non-conformist.

Uncommon in such a condition.

Condition

In a half crushed morocco binding. Externally generally smart, with a little rubbing to the head and tail of the spine and extremities resulting in slight loss to the leather. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
