First Edition, Leather Binding

The first edition of this collection of poems from Victorian era Poet Laureate, Alfred, Lord Tennyson, in a bright straight grain morocco binding.

With four poems concerning the Arthurian legends, and seven further works of poetry, including 'Flower in the Crannied Wall' and 'Lucretius'.

Inscription reading 'To Miss Annie Fleming with Her Minister's Best Wishes, Dec 25th 1869' to a front endpaper.

A lovely first edition collection of Tennyson's works.

Condition

In a full straight grain morocco binding. Rubbing to joints and back strip heads, with small losses to leather. Contemporary inscription to front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
