An exciting historical novel set during the turbulent Jacobite Wars, a romantic novel.

Written by Barbarina Brand, an English poet and artist, known as being one of the most accomplished women of her time.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. A few light spots and marks to the boards and spine. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Bookseller's label and pencil mark to the verso to the front endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned with some spotting. Small mark to the title page.
