    Colour Plates, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

    Frederick Warne's cookery and housekeeping book compiled and edited by Mary Jewry, the people's edition. Containing clear and complete instructions for housekeeping and recipes more suited for housekeepers with smaller incomes. 

    With numerous black and white illustrations in text. With four full page plates in colour, printed by Kronheim. Renewed endpapers which don't feature the advertisements. With the publisher's notice to the last leaf of text.

    Condition

    Re-backed in full cloth binding, original spine and boards restored, renewed endpapers. Externally sound with shelf wear, boards and spine soiled and marked. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally clean.
