This charming work was written by Mary Howitt and features a description of each month and the changes they bring to nature, with colour illustrations depicting the beauty of the natural world and the seasons.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth. Re-backed, generally sound with slight bumping and wear to the extremities, rubbing to the joints and scattered damp stains to the rear board. Minor tidemarks to the front endpapers and offsetting to the rear. Internally generally firmly bound with signs of strain in places. Pages lightly age toned with occasional spotting. Ink inscription to half title.
