The work is dedicated to Swinburne's Oxford friend Dante Gabriel Rossetti, who encouraged him to write the biography.

With a sixteen page publisher's catalogue to the rear.

In a signed full morocco binding by David Comstock of Seattle.

Condition

In a full morocco signed binding, with endpapers renewed. Externally, fine. Internally, generally firmly bound, but with one gathering (pages 83-94) working loose. Pages a touch age toned, but generally clean and bright, with only the odd spot.
