Illustrated with twenty-five engraved portraits of 'distinguished women' from the period, with the vast majority of these being portraits of Mrs. Washington. Collated, complete.

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Bumping to back strip head and tail, with light rubbing to board perimeters. Internally, firmly bound. Pages lightly age toned, with the odd spot throughout.
