Description

Leather Binding

Written by Whig politician Grantley F. Berkeley, the work contains writings on diverse subjects such as the relationship between love and money, seafaring and various historical locations and people.

Condition

In decorative morocco binding with gilt detailing. Externally sound, there is some wear to the joints, extremities, boards and backstrip, as well as some light markings. The hinge is also somewhat strained. Internally, the pages are genrally firmly bound, with some strain in places, and are spotted throughout.
