Reprinted from the American edition. This work offers an extensive variety of recipes from America, as the author states, many of the recipes in this work had not previously been printed in England. Illustrated with a frontispiece. Written anonymously. It is stated that the author spent years collecting rare and valuable recipes from around the world. Publisher's adverts to the pasedowns and endpapers.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Small cracks to the head and tail of the joints, resulting in a little lifting. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A few light marks to the boards. Front hinge is weak. Rear hinge strained but remains firm. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with the odd spot. Textblock from the front endpaper to the title page is detached but present.
