French language. Scarce work. A collection of letters from Voltaire, or Francois-Marie Arouet, a French Enlightenment writer, philosopher, and historian, to the Duchess of Saxe-Gothe, Luise Dorothea, a member of German royalty. Collected by Evariste Bavoux, a French writer and politician.

Condition

Bound in quarter crushed morocco with patterned boards. Externally, smart with light shelf wear to the extremities. Minor fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with scattered spotting.

Overall: Very Good Indeed
