Thomas Adolphus Trollope was an English writer who settled for most of his life in Florence, Italy. Within a decade, he wrote over 60 books of travel writing, history and fiction with the help of his mother.
Part of his life was also dedicated to creating a renowned villa in Florence with his first wife, Theodosia.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, with rubbing to the extremities. Rear hinges failed. Front hinges tender. Internally, generally firmly bound with the second 'Contents' leaf disbound but present. Pages are generally bright and clean. The first and last few leaves are age toned and occasionally spotted. Offsetting to the endpapers.
