Description
First Edition, Folding Plates, Leather Binding, Scarce
The first edition of this scarce work in a half calf binding. Ink inscription to the front free end paper, dated 1870. Prize bookplate from the University College of North Wales to the front paste down, dated 1885, along with stamps from the same university college to the half title page and title page. Illustrated with eight folding plates to the rear. Collated, complete. An introduction to higher geometry, with equations and diagrams, by Charles Pierre Housel.
Condition
In a half calf binding. Externally fairly smart, with some rubbing to the spine, joints and extremities, and a loss to the upper corner of the front board. Front hinge is starting but holding firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are spotted throughout.
