The Ingoldsby Legends is a collection of myths, legends, ghost stories and poetries written by Thomas Ingoldsby, which is a pen-name of an English clergyman named Richard Harris Barham.
Barham was an English novelist and humorous poet, known generally by his pen name.
With sixty illustrations throughout the text by George Cruikshank, John Leech and John Tenniel.
Condition
In full decorative morocco binding. Externaly, very smart. There is some rubbing to the joints and extremities and the spine is a little faded. There is a bookplate and ink to the front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound with bright clean pages with the odd spot.
