Guinnard was a French traveller and adventurer, who travelled from South America, Montevideo, Buenos Aires, Argentina, and many more places. For a time he lived with Indian tribes and after years of slavery, learned to live like them.
This volume collects all of his extraordinary adventures.
Illustrated with two hundred and sixty four illustrations and maps, both in text and full plates.
Condition
In the original publisher's quarter leather over cloth binding. Externally smart with slight shelf wear and edge wear and slight rubbing to the extremity of the front board. With a slight bumping to the extremities. With kenn Back's bookplate to the front pastedown. Internally, the first few leaves are coming loose, otherwise the volume is bound firmly. With a moderate foxing to the pages, particularly to the first and last few. Illustrated with two hundred and sixty four illustrations and maps, both in text and full plates.
