Condition

Bound in half calf with patterned boards. Externally, worn with rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Loss to both spines but predominantly the head of volume one. Marks to the boards. Hinges tender but firm. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the odd handling mark. Cork library bookplate to the front pastedown.
