With an introductory preface on Babrius' life.  Babrius was the author of a collection of Greek fables more commonly known today as Aesop's fables. 

Internally, an exceptionally bright copy. 

An uncommon imprint, particularly under the attribution of Babrius.

Condition

In a full calf prize binding. Externally, generally smart. Rubbing to the joints and to the extremities. Loss to the head of the spine. Prize dedication to the recto of front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with just the odd spot.
