Illustrated with a folding monochrome frontispiece and eleven monochrome plates. No complete collation available. This particular copy has the most plates we have seen.
This interesting work was written by Mr Harry Luton and provides an interesting history of Thame, a town by the River Thame, and its parishes. The work discusses the architecture and historic buildings of Thame, alongside sketches of important families, charities, and general history.

Condition
In the publisher's original cloth. Externally smart with bumping to the extremities, fading to the spine and small closed tears and slight loss to the cloth to the head and tail of the spine. Past owner's ink signature to the front pastedown, with a bookseller's stamp to the rear. Internally age toned with scattered spotting.
