'Idylls of the King' is the first volume in Tennyson's cycle of twelve narrative poems, retelling the legend of King Arthur and his love for Guinevere.

Written by Alfred Lord Tennyson, a noted Victorian poet who was the Poet Laureate for most of Queen Victoria's reign.

Condition

In a full crushed morocco signed binding by Riviere. Externally, smart. A couple of minor marks to the boards and spine. A little discolouration to the spine. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front endpaper. Small paper remnants to the recto to the front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
