This is a scarce edition of this work, first published din 1845.
A compilation and collection of first-hand accounts from the Peninsular War (1807-1814).
The author was also a historian who wrote several novels and historical studies.
Condition
In half morocco binding. Externally, very smart. There is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The hinges are slightly strained. Internally, firmly bound. There is a hole puncture to the title page. The pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot and some aging.
