Illustrated with a monochrome frontispiece and four maps to the rear. Collated complete. 

Entered, according to Act of Congress, in the year 1857 by the Massachusetts Sabbath School Society.

This work was written by the Rev Nahum Gale and provides an account of the Plymouth Colony pilgrimage to New England, with details on their first year. The work has been compiled from various large volumes of first hand accounts written by the pilgrims, with this work being intended as a refined version published for the public.

Condition

In the publisher's original blind stamped cloth. Externally very smart with bumping to the head and tail of the spine and a minor mark to the front board. Offsetting to the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with generally clean and lightly age toned pages with spotting to the front.
