    First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding

    A study of heraldry and genealogy comprised of public record, registers, heraldic collections, and family histories, &c. from the Domesday Books, Monastic Records, Cartae Antiqua, Knights' Fees and more. Written by Richard Sims of the British Museum. The first edition.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally smart with minor shelf wear, minor bumping to head and tail of spine, back strip faded slightly. Small strip on this volume pasted to front pastedown. Previous ownership inscription to front free endpaper, undated. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally clean with occasional spotting to odd leaf.
