    Jacob Abbott was an American author of children's books. This little book contains a tale written with the intent of having moral influence on children, portraying pictures of happy domestic life with quiet and peaceful conduct. 

    With a frontispiece and further illustrations. 

    Condition

    In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear only, bumped to head and tail of spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean with only a touch of age toning, as usual with the type of paper used.
