This volume contains the life of Velasquez with a catalogue of prints after works of Velasquez. 

Diego Velazquez was a Spanish painter and leading artist in the court of King Philip IV of Spain and Portugal and of the Spanish Golden Age. An individualistic artist of the Baroque period, he developed a free manner with bold brushwork.

With four pages of publisher adverts to the rear. 

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart with some bumping to the head of the spine and fading to the spine. Some marks to the boards. Front and rear hinges are starting but remain firm. Library stamp to the half title page. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
