This is a handwritten book of seventy eight pages of arithmetic questions and their workings out.
Handwritten by Miss Cofield, Rose Lodge, Mitcham, 1855.
One of the questions is
'My daughter bough a piece of Irish Linen for £2.19 and 7, it measure 26 yards, what did she pay per yard?'
Condition
In half calf binding with paper covered boards. Externally, generally smart with some rubbing to the extremities and spine and some marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
