With portrait frontispiece. A detailed collection of curious and remarkable sights and spots around the city of London, from the Adelphi and the Botanical Gardens, to stained glass windows and Zoological Gardens. Written by John Timbs, an English antiquary and author.

Condition

In the original full brown cloth binding. Externally, sound with light rubbing to the extremities. Fading to the spine. Front joint starting but firm with minor loss of the cloth. Front hinge tender but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd handling mark and ink annotations. Bookplate to the front pastedown.
