Prior owner's ink inscription to the head of the title page, offset to the frontispiece, not affecting image.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding, in a custom slipcase. Externally, generally smart. Light rubbing to the boards and spine. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Small crack to the rear joint. Spine is a little faded. Closed tear to the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with some spots. Slipcase has a little loss to the head of the front board. Slipcase in a very good indeed condition.
