Written by his daughter, Lady Saba Holland, the second wife of Sir Henry Holland. Lady Holland made a name for herself in the literary sphere by penning this carefully written memoir of her father. He was known to make jest of religious subjects and is known in the United States for his rhyming recipe for salad dressing. With the bookplate of Hon. Francis C Bridgeman to the front pastedown.
