Description

With the proceedings of the committee, minutes of evidence and statistics that break down the currencies as they would be decimalised.

From the library of the Institute of Bankers, an organised network of bank workers that was established in 1879 to network and share educational resources amongst each other.

Condition

In half calf binding and cloth binding. Externally, sound. With heavy wear to the leather and cracking to the joints. Front hinge is therefore tender. With the Institute of Bankers label to the front board and white library marks to the spine tail. With the institute's bookplate to the front pastedown. Internally, generally firmly bound. Front free endpaper is loose, but present, and the title page is missing from the work. This has been replaced by a tipped-in hand typed note to the beginning of the work. Pages are generally bright and clean, with offsetting and marks to the endpapers. Scattered spots to the first few leaves.
