Morris was a 'Parson Naturalist' who specialised in ornithology and entomology. He was a pioneer of protecting birds from the plume trade and co-founded the Plumage League. This is a uniformly bound set of Morris' three best known writings.

Comprising 'A History of British Birds' in six volumes; 'A Natural History of the Nests and Eggs of British Birds' in three volumes; 'A History of British Butterflies' in one volume.

'A History of British Birds' contains 358 coloured plates, 'A Natural History of the Nests and Eggs of British Birds' contains 223 chromolithograph plates and 'A History of British Butterflies' contains 71 plates.

Collated, complete according to Nissen.

Scarce to have so many of Morris' works together in one uniform set. A truly lovely example of this important natural history work.
