Colour Plates, Illustrated, Very Scarce
A very scarce Victorian Personal Scrapbook in full cloth binding with beautiful decorative gilt.
Dated from the first ink inscription by its owner being in 1850.
Includes two beautiful and bright colour plates bound in by the owner, as well as two lovely drawings.
This includes an engraving to one of the earlier pages, copied from an illustration in Master Humphrey's Clock and a pencil drawing of Walmer Castle.
Also includes a lovely flower press, which is still bright and attractive.
Condition
In full cloth binding. Externally, very smart. There is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean.
