Written by Scottish clergyman, Edward Irving, who was generally considered to be a principal figure behind the foundation of the Catholic Apostolic Church in the nineteenth century.
Condition
Bound in the publisher's original cloth. Externally, very good, with light bumping to the extremities and sunning to the spine. A ring mark to the front board and a mark to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with the occasional spot to the first and last pages. Ink inscription dated 1863 to the half title.
