Here is a six volume collection of his historical studies on the conquest of Peru in three volumes and of Mexico in three volumes, respectively the fourth and fifth edition of 1850. In uniform calf bindings.
Both are considered classic works in the field and are very influential and important for the study of both Spain and Mesoamerica.

Condition
Rebacked in full calf bindings with five raised bands, titles in gilt to morocco spine labels. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear only, lightly bumped to extremities of boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
