Illustrated, Leather Binding

A collection of the issues of the 'Primitive Methodist Magazine', published from January to December 1850. 'Primitive Methodist Magazine' was a monthly publication from the Primitive Methodist Church in Britain. The magazine was published from 1821 to 1898. This edition contains a collection of memoirs of various prominent members of the Methodist church, obituaries, notices of publications, works of divinity, poetry, and much more. With a frontispiece, and four plates. The magazine was being edited by John Flesher in 1850.

Condition

In a half calf binding with cloth to the boards. Externally, generally smart, though with rubbing and some surface cracks to the spine. Some bumping to the extremities. Cracks to the joints, heavier to the front joint. Minor marking to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with some scattered spots. Puncture marks close to the gutter.
